mdl design is the design work of Maxwell Lorenze. Graduate of Southern California Institute of Architecture with a Master of Architecture, along with holding other degrees in Sociology and Anthropology.
They are interested in Housing, Placemaking, Community Centric Design, and Architectural Discourse. Maxwell Lorenze is a designer, writer, editor, and is pursuing Architectural Licensure.
They are currently working as freelance designer for companies such as Digne and ERL. They are a board member of ARCADE NW and are assisting with the production of ARCADE’s print journal of the same name.
Maxwell enjoys working in different scales: temporary exhibitions, permanent installations, object design, academic architecture, and permanent built structures.
